All Ages: Intaglio Printmaking

Photograph to Print! 
Learn the basics of intaglio printmaking, then turn a photograph into a print! Participants can bring their own photograph, or choose from a range of magazine images. We will carve the image into plexiglass, then print the reverse image onto paper. Participants will bring home their carved plexiglass plate (which can be reprinted) along with one paper print.

¡De la fotografía a la impresión!

¡Aprenda los fundamentos del grabado en huecograbado y convierta una fotografía en una impresión! Los participantes pueden traer su propia fotografía o elegir entre imágenes de revistas. Grabaremos la imagen en plexiglás y luego la imprimiremos invertida en papel. Los participantes se llevarán a casa su placa de plexiglás tallada (que puede volver a imprimirse) junto con una impresión en papel.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

Advance registration is required. Each class must meet a minimum participation number. If the minimum is not met at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time, the class is subject to cancellation. Please call the Art Spot if you have any questions.
