Floral Fabric Making

• $35 per person
• Ages 12+ (12- with an accompanying adult)

• This class is taught in English.

All ages are welcome at this Botanical Tapestry Design class, where we lay flowers and plants on natural cotton fabric in a pattern of your choice. There is no “wrong way”!

We will crush the plants and flowers into the fabric, a unique process that expresses the natural dyes into the fabric.

The end result is a watercolor- looking custom fabric of your own making. And yes - it is washable! Use it as a bandanna, a scarf, a handchief, or turn it into a pillowcase or tote bag.

All materials are included and no experience is required, including a square of durable, recycled cotton, but you are welcome to bring any other cotton, hemp, etc.

Adolescentes y Adultos: Taller de Teñido Botánico

Todas las edades son bienvenidas a esta clase de diseño de tapices botánicos, en la que colocamos flores y plantas sobre tela de algodón natural siguiendo el patrón que usted elija. ¡No hay una “forma incorrecta” de hacerlo! Trituraremos las plantas y las flores sobre la tela, un proceso único que permite que los tintes naturales se impregnen en la tela.

Advance registration is required. Each class must meet a minimum participation number. If the minimum is not met at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time, the class is subject to cancellation. Please call the Art Spot if you have any questions.
