Floral Hammered Bandana

Meet at the Art Spot for a stroll down the Blue River rec path, where we will identify foliage native to Summit County and use those plants to create custom bandanas. Laying the plants onto a blank bandana in a design of your choice, we then cover the floral design with contact paper to hold it in place. River rocks and our own muscles are used to crush the plants, expressing the natural dyes of the plant material into the fabric.
And yes - it is washable!
This is great for all ages and anyone can participate. All materials are included but you are welcome to bring any other cotton, hemp, or other natural fabric items you may wish to dye such as shirts, tote bags, pillowcases, etc.
Important Notes
- Advance registration is required. Each class must meet a minimum participation number. If the minimum is not met at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time, the class is subject to cancellation.
- If you need to cancel, you must notify the instructor by email at least 48 hours before the class start time.
