After School Programs: Art Lab

Our After School Art Lab gives kids the opportunity to explore a new creative project each week in a fun, supportive environment. Guided by an instructor, participants will learn a variety of artistic techniques while working with different materials and mediums. With a new activity every week, students will build their artistic skills, expand their creativity, and gain confidence as they discover new ways to express themselves. 

Important Notes

• This program is eligible for transportation from Silverthorne Elementary School to Silverthorne Recreation Center. This program must be in your cart before registering for transportation. Register for your preferred classes first, then add transportation to reserve a seat. Parent or guardian must pick up participants from the recreation center after the program ends. Registration is required and cost is $2 per day.  15 passenger van will be used for transportation.  Seatbelts and booster seats will be used. 
• Program cancellations must be made at least seven days in advance of program start to receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than seven days prior to program start are subject to Program Coordinator’s approval. Program Coordinator will assess class minimums, staffing and supplies to determine if a late cancellation can be made. If a late cancellation is granted, an administration fee of at least 25% will be assessed.
• Cancellations requested after a program has started are also subject to Program Coordinator approval. Participants must contact the Program Coordinator as soon as possible, and no later than after two classes are missed. Refunds, if granted, will be prorated with an additional 25% administrative fee of total class cost. 
• Cancellations due to injury or illness will be given a prorated refund only when proof of inability to participate due to medical reasons is presented in writing within fourteen days of the last class.

• It is expected that participants may miss a class during session-based classes. By paying, participants are securing a spot in the class, not paying of their attendance in the class. Therefore, prorates and refunds are not granted for missed classes.
