Intro to Painting: Gouache Sunflower Class

This class is perfect for beginners as for someone with more advanced skills. Step-by-step setting in which you learn basics of gouache, color mixing, how to simplify nature into paintable shapes from a simple sketch to a finished - ready to be framed painting!
Gouache (pronounced "gwash") is a watercolor-based paint made from pigment, water and binder like gum arabic. It dries to a smooth, flat, velvety matte finish. Unlike acrylic, dried gouache reactivates with water, making it easy to blend and fix mistakes

Important Notes
- Advance registration is required. Each class must meet a minimum participation number. If the minimum is not met at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time, the class is subject to cancellation. Please call the Art Spot if you have any questions.
- If you cannot attend the class and need a refund, you must notify the Art Spot by phone or email 48 hours before the class start time.
